Summary

Today is my first blog post, but I don’t have a lot to write about. About a year ago,  my mother and I upgraded the site with Drupal 7. My site needs some work, it is been around for 10 years and I’ve changed a lot since I started the site. Drupal 7 is nice, it updates the software and makes it easier to keep the site up.

Ten years ago I came up with the concept for two different movies. One movie is Robot Man and the other is Courage. The concept for both is to use Legos for the filming. I will be building some of the sets and I’m designing them in ML-Cad right now.  The Robot Man script has started but I get stressed in thinking about it so the development is slow.

The Robot Man Lego movie will be based on concepts from the The Terminator (1984), RoboCop (1987) and the television series The Six Million Dollar Man (1973-1978). The movie Courage will be based on concepts from science fiction films like The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) and Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). Courage is an emotion, and that movie title is easy to get confused with other movies. It is hard to apply it like The Red Badge of Courage did. There is also a composer named Alexander Courage who used to do themes for the original Star Trek. The movie Robot Man is not to be confused with the DC Comics character or the comic strip which got renamed to Monty. All of the movie ideas are fictional.

I am redoing a Lego page for my site, but it will take a while to get going. I am copying some of the old content into this new site and it takes time to do it. I have to be careful in posting to make sure there isn’t any copyrighted content and images on my site. I think it will take about two or three weeks to complete the site. I’ve watched Lego clips from YouTube and the stop motion sketch series Robot Chicken from Adult Swim.
