Rules for forming plural nouns
If the noun ends with s, sh, ch, x, and z to form a plural you add an e. Examples:
- Bus end with an s so you add an es to form the plural buses
- Box ends with an x so you an es to form the plural boxes
- Brush ends with an sh so you add an es to form brushes
- Watch ends with ch so you add an es to form the plural watches
- Waltz ends with z so you add an es to form the plural waltzes
