This is the lesson from 11 December 2018. This mostly covers about Lady Gaga in the reading comprehension, the actual text source is unknown at this moment since my dad mostly copies from the internet. It had a spelling problem once when I used LibreOffice Writer.

Fractions
A fraction is one number over the other like this:
Number | Numerator and Denominator | Result |
13 | is the numerator | Larger than 1. |
6 | is the denominator | |
Notice that if the numerator is larger the fraction is greater than (>) 1.
9 | is the numerator | = 1 |
9 | is the denominator | |
If the numerator = the denominator the fraction = 1.
1 | is the numerator | Smaller than 1. |
6 | is the denominator | |

Lady Gaga Considers the Shrimp Scampi
- Text source is from Steve Almond: http://newflashfiction.com/steve-almond/
There were fifty thousand little monsters screaming for an encore, Spaniards, Germans, skinny little French boys, Italians making wet sounds with their tongues. She wanted to bathe all of them, right on stage, in a giant steel tub. She wanted to scrub the grime off them in long strokes, then watch them all dance naked. It was why she had invented herself. But she was hungry, too, so she called out to Jules to bring her some shrimp scampi in a warm bowl. And there was Jules, with the bowl, saying, “How many minutes you need? The tech guys have to know.”
Gaga looked at the shrimp, big curly things glistening with garlic. She ate one and then she ate four more and put her nose in the bowl and breathed. It smelled like a kitchen should. She thought about senior year in high school, playing Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, the platinum blond wig, the way everyone got quiet when she sang and how the silence felt holy. One night, after rehearsal, she talked to this kid, Casey something. He told her she was going to be a star. Later, he spread a rumor that she smelled like garlic. She thought how sad he must be.
The problem was that boys took your creativity. You opened yourself to them, even just for a few minutes, even out of pity, or some temporary need, and the energy came pouring out. Jules was still standing there, looking at her, waiting for an answer.

Natural Selection and Adaptation
Let’s consider a real-life example of evolution by natural selection in insects. Insects play good and bad roles in agriculture. They help pollinate important food crops, but some insects eat crops. This pressure led farmers to spray pesticides in their fields to control populations of harmful insects. However, some insects had a genetic mutation that enabled them to resist harmful effects of pesticides. When they passed on this mutation to their offspring, their offspring were better able to survive, compete, and reproduce in the pesticide filled environment. As a result, over time, more and more insects had this pesticide resistant mutation. The mutation spread quickly in the population because insects have short lifespans, and the generations succeed each other rapidly. The ability of insects to resist the effects of pesticides is considered an adaptation and evolves due to natural selection favoring those insects with resistance.
History
The Years After World War II (Part III)
The postwar world also presented Americans with a number of problems and issues. Flushed with their success against Germany and Japan in 1945, most Americans initially viewed their place in the postwar world with optimism and confidence. But within two years of the end of the war, new challenges and perceived threats had arisen to erode that confidence. By 1948, a new form of international tension had emerged–Cold War–between the United States and its allies and the Soviet Union and its allies. In the next 20 years, the Cold War spawned many tensions between the two superpowers abroad and fears of Communist subversion gripped domestic politics at home.
