John Thomas Harpster (user name jj98) (b. February 1, 1990 in San Diego, California, USA) is an American website programmer and lego entrepreneur. He is the founder and owner of JOHNJOHN98 and Bricksville.net.

Background

John T. Harpster was born on February 1, 1990 in the Kaiser Permanente Hosptial in a white collar community, Allied Gardens, in San Diego, California.

Harpster lived in Clairemont in San Diego until 1991, when they moved to Greybull, Wyoming. The Harpsters lived in the Antler Motel in Greybull. In 1995, Harpster suffered a broken arm after he fall off from the dining room chair. Additionally, Harpster had done arts with KidPix on Macintosh, and also, he had done some arts with Microsoft Paint. In 1996, the Harpsters moved from Greybull back to San Diego. Harpster also lived in the apartment for a short time in La Mesa, near the I-8 and the 125 freeway in California.

In 1999, Harpster started doing legos with a Lego Space Port, and other things.

In 2001, Harpster built Legosville made out of legos, and was eventually torn down in 2008. In 2002, he also built the X-78, and also, he built the X-77 in 2003. Harpster worked on JOHNJOHN98 in late 2003, after Legosville.net was started in 2002. JOHNJOHN98 was launched on February 15, 2004 by John T. Harpster and Tamara Harpster, also known as "Sablewing". It was edited with web editor HotDog, and later CoffeeCup HTML editor. In 2005, Harpster released a first Orbiter addon Testsat.

In 2007, Harpster added a JOHNJOHN98 logo with gears reflecting. In January 2008, Harpster updated the JOHNJOHN98 site with Drupal. Also, Harpster added its lego page including the X-78, X-77, and Legosville. In June 2008, Harpster published a first article Descent, a video game made by Interplay in 1995. In September 2008, Harpster published some television shows articles. In November, Legosville.net was renamed to Citiesville.net, to avoid trademark the Lego Group, but it was renamed to Bricksville.net in May 2009.

In July 2009, Harpster also started doing sports articles, including baseball, such as the New York Yankees.
